I love Instagram. It’s the app I use most. I think it is such an amazing resource, especially as I am trying to grow my blog. However, I don't follow a lot of people on Instagram. I follow LOTS of makeup companies and nail brands. And of course I follow some celebrities. But I really have to up my game. Before I begin following anyone and everyone, let me tell you about my favorite people I follow right now. These accounts are my favorite to see on my feed.

@girlwithnojob and @jackieoproblems

Two accounts I follow are Claudia and Jackie Oshry. They are probably the funniest people I follow. They're two sisters who have a pop culture news podcast called the Morning Toast. They are both so fashionable and they post their outfits so I love that. They both have dogs and Jackie’s is only a puppy so he is so precious. Claudia also posts a lot on her story and I watch every second because she is so blunt and random. Sometimes they post about reality tv shows that I don’t really watch but I like it anyway because the Oshry sisters always make me laugh.

@annakloots

Anna Kloots is another one of my faves to follow. She is a blogger based in France. Anna Kloots also has a print shop so her Instagram stories are constantly the most beautiful whimsical photos of France. What's so cool is she is an American who just moved to France because she has always wanted to. She is constantly out in Paris posting videos of street performers or pics of the most delicious looking baguettes. Her feed transports you straight to Paris. I love her account. I always feel like I'm watching a Disney movie but it’s her real life.

@joannagaines

Of course I follow Joanna Gaines. Obviously. I literally love her. I have both her cookbooks, her home design book, and her and Chip’s autobiography. Couldn't recommend all of them more. During the peak of quarantine she did this little cooking show on IGTV with her kids and it was really fun to watch. She does so much with her kids and it's so sweet. And she lives on a farm so the photos she posts are so pretty they make me want to live in her garden.

@humansofny

Humans of New York is universally one of the best accounts I follow. If you aren't familiar with Humans of New York it is the photography project that was started in 2010. Brandon Stanton wanted to photograph 10,000 New Yorkers on the Streets of New York. Then he began to interview the subjects of these photos and published the photos and interviews to his blog. He has gone on to create two books and post almost daily on Instagram. I love following this account and whenever a post comes across my feed I always take the time to stop and read it. Sometimes they inspire me, make me think, or make me really happy.

I thought this was super fun to share with you. I actually think this might become a series here on the blog! This was actually really easy to write because I knew exactly why I follow and love each of the accounts. Follow my instagram if you want. I don't post to my feed as much, but I post a lot on my story! I am active on it everyday so follow and dm me!
